To and Subject columns blank in users Sent folder

I have a user on Outlook 2003. His Inbox displays correctly. His sent
folder, however, displays correctly for about 20 percent of his sentmail, and
for about 80 percent of it, the To: and Date: columns are blank. If he opens
one of these emails, then closes it again, it then shows to To: and Date:
information correctly, and places the email in the correct place for whatever
view he is using.

Does anyone have an idea of what I can do to fix this, beyond telling him to
open and close every affected email in his Sent folder to correct the problem?

Many thanks!

Have him try resetting the view. View>Arrange By>Current View>Customize
Current View>Reset Current View

It still shows blanks for the To: and date columns, except for those messages
that he has opened and closed. No luck with resetting the view. Thanks,
though!
