From and Message fields empty

I suddenly developed a problem with an otherwise flawless email experience.
The from and the subject fields are blank, in the inbox folder and when I
open the message. I sent myself a couple of test messages and these fields
are still blank. Also, the time and date stamp for the message is whenever I
opened outlook. In other words all messages, regardless of when they were
received are time and date stamped when I open up Outlook. I'm able to get my
email through webmail and know it is working.
Any thoughts?
