Hello,

I have an SONY analog camcorder. There is only A/V output which I can
connect to TV. But, I would like to connect the A/V output of my camcorder to
my computer so that I can play my camcorder and see the output in computer.

Can anyone please assist me how to do this setup? I have Windows XP home
edition. Also, my camcorder does not have any pin other than standard A/V
pins. Also, my computer does not have any A/V pin connections.

Your kind help would be really appreciated!!!

Regards,
Rajan

What are you prepared to purchase.

You do not have one item required to connect the camera to the PC.

Consider that this is a 'starter list':
Video Capture Card for PC
Camera to Video Card Cable [with appropriate connectors]
Video Capture Software

Hi,

You need to add a video capture card. For what you need, this one, or one
like it, will work well:
