I have an aol email address. For months everything was working correctly but
currenty, I am able to receive messages but am unable to send messages.(once
in a does work.) Any ideas?

AOL has probably changed a mail server name or setting. I would start by
contacting their support. Oh, and budget a lot of time and patience first!
