AMD Germany finds no re-marked chips in channel

JANUARY 04, 2005 (IDG NEWS SERVICE) - The German subsidiary of
Advanced Micro Devices Inc. has contacted distributors and resellers of
its products in Germany and said it has found no evidence of falsely
labeled, or "re-marked," microprocessors entering the country from
Taiwan.

Ed, your subject line is not supported by the article. Saying that no
re-marked parts have entered from Taiwan is _not_ the same as saying
there are no such parts in the channel.
