Can't get my mind around this, and no time to study closely. While
editing a page on my home site in FP 2002 I added this link:

http://www.abacom-online.de/UK/html/lmaster.html

If I open that from anywhere else (such as right here as I compose
this message), then I get to the correct site, LochMaster.

Yet if I use Ctrl+click in FP Normal view, or lefy click in Preview,
it takes me to a Dutch site called Baas Electronics.

I pasted your link into a FP page and did as you did. I
did not get anything other than lmaster.html

Sounds like a DNS problem. Does www.abacom-online.de resolve to
195.35.109.3 on the local machine? (that's the correct IP)

Thanks both, now sorted. Subsequently discovered that I hadn't given
it the correct hyperlink.(I'd added a new entry to the page by first
copying an adjoining one as a sort of template, to help me get format
correct, and although I'd pasted the correct new link over top of the
'template', I hadn't used the Hyperlink command. Beats me how I or
anyone else managed to get to the correct URL at all?!
