I just completed trying this. It 80% answers my question...but it leads to a
problem I hadn't previously anticipated.
My question is this what would one do if we needed it to populate other
columns from the subsidiary list. for example (using the examples in the
aforementioned page) how would one say have it populate not just Apples in
the fruits category, but then have it populate a spot where say, it would say
apples and the price in the next column...plus maybe a place where it would
then allow a user to add a formula to calculate cost if one wanted say 5
apples. but still using this dependant lists format.
illustrated here as best I can:
Produce Subsist price qty. total
Fruits Apples .49 (user fill) (formula)
I hope that makes sense...and thank you so much for the link.
