I'm importing my company logo (inverted) but there's a white box around it
that I can't seem to get rid of. Any suggestions? Remove color does not work
since it removes the box and artwork.

What sort of file is the logo (e.g. vector - wmf/emf etc, or a bitmap -
png/jpg/gif/tif/bmp etc)

What type of image file is it? GIF, BMP, JPG? You're best option is to edit
it in an image editor and insert the (gif) file in the presentation.
