I need to first add that I am getting the "Blue screen of Death" with
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0x0000000A (0x0000FFDF, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x806E4A8E)

I am getting this error below and need help on what to do to fix this error.

Thanks

Event Type: Error
Event Source: DCOM
Event Category: None
Event ID: 10020
Date: 3/31/2007
Time: 5:05:23 PM
User: N/A
Computer: DGL
Description:
The machine wide Default Launch and Activation security descriptor is
invalid. It contains Access Control Entries with permissions that are
invalid. The requested action was therefore not performed. This security
permission can be corrected using the Component Services administrative tool.

I'm sorry that I have not gotten back to you sooner but between being busy,
weather and the computer time just flew by. I'm using my laptop now but my
desktop that I'm having the trouble with will not even go into windows now.
It shows the screen that gives you the choice to run windows normally, last
known good configuration or safe mode. When I choose one of those all it does
is restarts and goes back to the same screen. It does this over and over
again and doesn't matter which you pick. What can I do to fix this or even
just reload XP new? I tried that too booting from the XP disk but it would
restart and never finish loading all the way. Now it will not even let me try
to do that.
Please help.

Dennis

The Stop Error is - IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL with additional information as
Stop: 0x0000000A (0xE162E900, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x80563B5C)

May I know if anyone knows which update can solve the problem.
Thank you.
