What am I doing wrong! I can't assign the task says not in folder

I have created a new task folder named Goals. It show the task whenyou
click on it. I can click on the the task and set up to assign the task.
Once I completed the information and I go to send the task I get the
following message "This task request in not in your Task folder. The task
will not be updated when you receive responses or updates unless you remove
it to your Task folder. Are you sure you want to continue? Yes or No"

You can get updates for tasks only when they remain in the default Tasks
folder.

The error message is telling you that tasks need to be in your default task
folder if you want updates to them. You can still assign it to someone -
click Yes - but you will not get status reports on it. If you must have
status reports, it needs to be in your default tasks folder.
