I set up a lap top, and only put in Office Basic, which has Word and
some features,
but not Powerpoint.

What can I put in an inexpensive alternative to that will will
Powerpoint files?

Thanks.

Not an Outlook question. However, http://www.openoffice.org/ contains a
free office suite that includes replacements for Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint. Keep in mind that the Word replacement will NOT integrate with
Outlook or any other Microsoft Office application, but you may not need the
integration anyway.
