Alternative Locations for FP 2002 Extensions (for XP Pro)?

I do local (inside firewall) development with Expression Web and need
the XP-capable FP Extensions for a new PC.

Microsoft took the files offline (WTF?) due to their "policies" -
which I understand. But that doesn't help me.

Am I missing something?

Thanks to all in advance.

No, you're not missing anything. The Office group took over the FP 2002
server extensions, and declared them "end-of-life" and to them out of
support. (Except for the version that comes with Windows 2003. But they
aren't available for and don't work with XP)

Windows XP Professional comes with FP 2000 extensions, if you want to use
those.

What OS on the new PC?

If XP Pro, install the extensions from the XP CD.
If Vista, download the extensions for IIS 7 from here:
http://www.iis.net/downloads/default...=34&g=6&i=1531

I do not see it on my XP Cds. :-(

Does someone have the file? I would so appreciate being able to
install FP 2002 rather than FP 2000 extensions. I have FP 2002 on my
other XP Pro Machine but NO IDEA where I got it... prob from MS site.

It's part of IIS. Install IIS from Add/Remove Programs | Microsoft.
Install the extensions as part of IIS.

We cannot legally give you a copy of the file.

It isn't readily visible on the CD, install via Add Remove Programs >Window
Components > IIS >FPSE 2000
