Does anyone know how?

I am working with this scenario:

I have a link in one of the pages of my site, pointing to another page. There are more than 2,000 pages so, sometimes it is impossible to have everything under control. Wonder that the link drives to a page, which answer is "Not Found".

My question is:

Is there anyway when your are assigning a link to another page to have an alternate link in the HTML code pointing to another place? For example, if the browser returns "Not Found", I would like to present another page, in this case a kind of "Under Construction, come back later". However, in other parts of the site I may need another destination for the alternate link, such as, the home page.

I do not know if I made myself clear, but I need help on this matter. I work with FP 2002 SP3, and I am a kind of newbie.
