I am trying to get the lunar phases to show up on my
Outlook 2002 calendar. I followed the following steps
from the Outlook help menu:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click
Calendar Options.
2. Under Advanced options, select the Enable alternate
calendar check box.
3. In the list, click the calendar option you want.
To quit using an option, clear the Enable alternate
calendar check box.

I do show a check box at the above listed location.
However, there is not a check in the box and I can't
place a check in the box by clicking the box. Therefor,
I am unable to select any calendar options.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

that lunar phase is for alternate languages. You need the proper language
support installed. It's easier to use the link Greg posted.
