Often when I have a number of windows open the Alt + Tab does not bring up
the task switcher window. When this happens I'm switched to either the next
app in the ring or if I press the Tab key several times while holding the Alt
key I'm switched to some task in the ring (I assume it corresponds to the
number of times I press the Tab key) but at no time do I see the Task
Switcher window. If I close a few windows then I will see the Task Switcher
window when I press the Alt + Tab. Usually when this happen within a short
time other weird things will take place and I'm forced to reboot the system
to clear the issue.
I'm running WinXP Pro with all the latest, 2GB of real memory 50GB of free
HD space. VM is set to a default of 3500. Any ideas what is going on here?
