Only recently windows explorer on my computer (XP-pro SP2 with automatic
update) started showing strange behaviour with the Alt-F and Alt-E
shortcuts.

When I have a highlighted folder on the left pane of the Explorer, and I
press alt-F or alt-E, then the following happens:

1. the next folder in the left pane moves one down to the next folder
2. the menu pull down appears
3. I get a 'start navigation' sound in accordance with my sound settings
4. AND the pull down disappears immediately

Strangely enough, when any of the other objects in the left pane are
highlighted (like desktop, my computer, network, etc), the alt-e and
alt-f keys work fine. And also the strange behaviour does not occur with
the View, Favorites, Tools and Help menu.

There seems to be somehow a context sensitivity with just the Folder
objects. Allthough the standard context function with a right mouse
click on the folder behaves normally.

Any pointer on how to solve this would be appreciated.

Gertjan.
