Sadly no, I couldn't seem to work that one out. The hard drive worked
when I tried it in another identical box, and the image worked on that
box when I put it in on a compact flash card.
I seem to be having problems getting my newsreader to access the
group at the moment too, it's saying there have been no new posts all
day - though it did briefly think there were 26 - though the web reader
seems to be picking posts up OK..
It doesn't work on IE for mac, though, so I've had to switch to Safari...

I had several units stalling at Verifying DMI Pool. It turned out to be
pressure on the CPU from an object in our top cover. When we installed the
top cover, a connector would apply pressure on the aft side of the CPU fan.
I duplicated this by pressing on the CPU fan assembly with my finger.
