have this suffix in the Connection specific suffix?
This will certainly cause DNS to fail if you have numerous machines trying
to register in a zone for this name. Win2kSP4 will not register in single
label names, If there are any machines pre SP4 DNS will forward these
registration requests to the root servers.
Remove these suffixes.
