Hi. Is there a way of setting preferences in 2007 so that the TO names are
alphabetized? It seems like a very basic business need. I've looked at other
postings but did not see anything that helped.

Thanks.

Hi, Brian. In the TO line. In other words, I want the TO list to be arranged
in alpha order; otherwise, one either needs to rank them by precedence or
leave it to chance, which could be mistaken for an attempt at precedence.

Sorry, but only an idiot would try to imply precedence from the order of
addresses in a recipient fied.

Notice that I wasn't calling YOU an idiot. I have no problem. The person
with the problem is the one who would think that the order of the addresses
on the To list means something about who's important and who's not. If
that's you, then I apologize, but no one should assign meaning to something
that has none.
