Hi Ernst,
Go to Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View/Reset all folders, then
reset them. If that doesn't help:
Right-click Start, click Explore, and then click drive C. On the View menu,
click Details.
Click the Name column to sort items by name then quit Windows Explorer by
clicking File/Close.
