That's what I was wondering. I hope not.
I am a re-inker. I prefer re-cycling what I have. I really value the
information alotofthings posted for re-inkers -- primer pages and
instruction sheets. I've used their Canon inks, and they work well
for me. Same with MIS, and most other sellers I've tried.
The system I use works well for me. I keep a set of syringes (one
syringe for each color) for each printer. I leave the ink in the
syringe, refilling each syringe as needed. I check the ink levels on a
schedule (monthly, at my current level of printer usage) so never run
out. On Canon carts, I use glue from a small hot glue gun to cover
the refill hole, and just scrape off old glue each time.
I've been refilling inkjets successfully for about twenty years.
Best,
Larry
I use A Lot of Things inks and never have had any problems. I've never had
to contact customer service so I can't say whether it is good or bad. I've
also used MIS ink and think they have a good product too. I use the same
method as you with a hot glue gun or if I do reuse the rubber plug in the
cartridges I still cover it with hot glue. I've bought some Hobbicolors that
I am going to be trying soon. They have a really good reputation and they
had refill ink for 8 color printers.
