Greetings, all!

I have followed the suggestion in the referenced KB to give the Print
Operators group Write access on a Windows 2000 DC's %SYSTEMROOT%\inf folder
to allow installation of new printers by Print Operators. It appears that
this works for the built-in drivers, but if the Print Operator tries to add a
third-party driver, a file copy error appears about 4/5 through the copy
process. If the same process is repeated with the same driver using a Domain
Admin account, there aren't any file copy errors. Does anyone have a work
around to allow the Print Operators group to install third-party printer
drivers on a Windows 2000 DC?

Thanks for your time,

- S
