we have a cd that we purchased many years ago that has a
powerpoint presentation for "administering medication".
Our computer was able to run it with no problem, when we
used powerpoint 97, we recently upgraded out systems to
run windows xp and the lates version of microsoft office.

When a sentence comes on the screen from a slide a voice
reads it. so there are several wave files on one slide.
Well, now when we run it on the latest version of
powerpoint, all the wave files on the current slide start
playing, instead of it playing one at a time. So it sounds
like 5 people are talking at one time.

We tried to contact the company who made this cd for an
updated version, but they no longer exsist and we need to
be able to run this presentation. any help or suggestions
are greatly appreciated.

Try downloading, installing and using the free PowerPoint 97 Viewer to run
the presentation. You can find it at
