i noticed that user account service was not starting, meaning only admin
could log in, so i attempted to restart the service manually. When that
failed i attempted to have the service run as admin. When that failed i tried
turning uac back on, it asked for a reboot.
When I rebooted, I noticed that Aero had failed and all my icons were gone.
I tried to turn uac back off, but it did not respond. I then noticed that cmd
and mmc were not working. In fact all most every single service had failed.
Also, i had lost all use of the right mouse button and my laptop's touchpad
had lost its scroll function.
The same thing happens everytime i reboot, but when i log out and log in
again aero starts up, but everything else remains dead.
Also, all help files display "under construction", and i can not unistall
any programs.

Basically, everything is dead. Well, all most everything. I can still use
media center and some programs, all though it seems fairly abritrary as to
which ones work and which don't. for instance, Firefox does not respond, but
IE provides limited functionality.

Oh yeah, and everything that referred to my profile seems to have gotten
lost, it looks like its looking for my profile in the system32 folder.

Any help would be most appreciated.
