I have two SanDisk multicard readers.

The OLD one used to show 4 drive letters N, M, O and P and worked fine.

Now it only shows M O and P on my desktop comuter.
The same response on my new laptop.

The NEW reader shows only N, M and O on the desktop computer. The CF card
pluged in is not recongined. No drive has any media.

The NEW reader connected to the NEW laptop shows the same 3 drives, F, G and
H. F, the first, does show the media and the files.

Bottom line, only 3 of 4 drives show up. Only the NEW reader has the CF
card recognized on the NEW laptop.

Both systems Xp Pro, SP2 with the latest updates from Microsoft. I have
talked to the manufacturer for tech support. Obviously I don't have a
solution.

The OLD system (desktop-minitower) has -- C: D: E: F: on one drive, G: and
H: DVC and CD, I: and J: 2 hard drives, K: network drive, L: USB CD.

Notebook C: and D: same drive. K: network drive (same as desktop).

The drive assignments have also been checked in "Disk Management" on
"Computer Management." At times drives have been moved in case there was not
enough space. L: has been disconnected and when rebooted, the card readaer
will start at L: but not the slot that has the CF card.

Help is appreciated.

Thank you.

Fred
