Micorosoft Wireless Bluetooth Laser mouse 8000
I was having problems rechraging etc?
Pressing buttons and resets for months trying to figure out how to low level
reset this device. Here's how.
Leave the USB bluetooth device plugged in at all times.
1. press and hold mouse reset x 15 sec, then 5 sec, then 5 sec again
2. mouse is blinking green-red (pause) green-red...
3. take mouse off charge pad and press its reset 5 sec
4. place on charge pad 25 sec, 8 slow green blinks then rapid red blinks
5. remove from pad and place on desk
6. now your system crashes so do a manual reboot
7. let vista 64 restart in Normal (

mode
8. press mouse reset x 5 sec, charge pad 5 sec, back to the desk
9. press bluetooth reset x 5 sec
10. finish the system reconfiguration and your mouse is fixed!
Ten steps for people with ten fingers.
God knows this solution is likely particular to my system idiosyncracies.
Good Luck!
Microsoft support if it exists is approaching the cost of a new mouse
replacement.
FYI competitors' advanced tech guidance is free.
And easily acquired with a toll-free call.
I also use that slinky black 2-wheel Logitech gamer that costs exactly the
same.
Oh baby, hate to say the Microsoft mouse works better for graphic design.

)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Idiosyncracies!
