All remote drives are suddenly showing up as RAW

Recently (I have no idea what prompted this change in
behavior) every remote file system I mount (map network
drive) from WinXP shows up as a RAW filesystem, when in
fact the filesystems are NTFS. Each of the filesystems
used to show up as NTFS.

Any ideas who I can change this behavior?

Sorry, I do not have a solution but you are not alone...

I have sort of the same problem with WinXP Home Edition. I map a dis
using Samba and the disk appears as raw. Others using WinXp in my fir
does not have this problem?!

The big difference is that I have updated XP with critical and no
critical patches from Microsoft. I thought this was wise...

I have searched for a solution now for several weeks but nobody has
solution.

I'll continue the search and inform you if I find a solution
