all programs singlle column how to change

      5th May 2008
when I click on all programs it comes up as a single column whis is a pain
to look up and down. I seem to remember there is a way to make it multiple
columns al on the page at once but can't remember how to do it. can anyone
let me know?

Right click on your Start button and select Properties from the
menu.
Click on the Start menu tab.
On the Start menu page, hit the Customize button.
If you're using the Windows XP style Start menu, do the
following.
In Customize Start Menu, click on the Advanced tab.
In the Start menu items box, remove the check mark from the box
next to "Scroll programs".
If you're using the Classic Start menu, uncheck "Scroll
programs" in the Advanced start menu items box.
Click OK.

You should now see multiple columns listing your installed
programs.
