Every time I power up my pc all print job's that were printed since the last
time i restarted my pc print again. It makes no difference what printer i
used it will reprint everything to all the different printers i use. local
printers network printers they all start printing when i turn my pc on. I
have tried deleting all printers and drivers and reinsalling them and they

Have you tried System Restore to a time prior to the start of the problem?

Try Start, Control Panel, Printers & Faxes, "Printer", Printer, Properties,
Advanced. Check
whether the option to "Keep Printed Documents" is checked?

Hope this helps.

I have lived with this issue for to long, my restore points only go to July.
I wish i would have thought of that b4. I had this problem with one other pc
on my network and it fixed it self a few months ago.

Gerry, "Keep Printed Documents" is not checked. it seems that is what is
doing for just one re-boot. When i search for modified files before and after
re-boot i see the print files (C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\PRINTERS\00042.SPL)
And when i look at the properties it says its a shockwave flash object. That
seems suspect to me??
Thanks for everyones help!

I found the following on the ms website, it is the closest thing to my
problem that i can find.
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/its...spog5.mspx#EDF

Problem #3: Spooler Retries Old Print Job
Description of Problem
When you send a print job to a printer, the print spooler might not delete
the spool file from the %SystemRoot%\System32\Spool\Printers folder when the
print job is completed, and the print spooler might repeatedly attempt to
spool the print job.

Resolution of Problem

• To prevent this behavior from occurring, do not change the attributes of a
spool file while it is in the %SystemRoot%\System32\ Spool\Printers folder.

• To work around this behavior, remove the read-only attribute and then
delete the spool file from the %SystemRoot%\System32\ Spool\Printers folder.

**I need to figure out how to get this auto delete feature working on a
regular basis.
