All pages from 2 onwards printing on the same page

Compaq laptop running XP.

It prints Page 1 normally, but all subsequent pages are printed on the
same second page - just creating a huge black mess.

Is this a common Windows XP problem?

If so can someone point me at the right patch/KB document??

Cant find anything myself.

Or any other clues??
