All options not highlighted for Network Connections

Since I upgraded to W2K SP4 I have had not had access to
my nework connections. I believe I have tracked the
problem to a problem with Remote Access Connection
Manager. When I attempt to start it manually I get the
message Access denied.

The system event log has the message "could not create
buffers, access denied". I have restarted my PC a number
of times with no luck. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Chuck H

Hi Chuck,

Found this to happen because of a Veritas driver installed. Uninstall Veritas or contact them
for an update. Possibly could be another third party backup software.

Thanks,
Gary

Hi Gary,

Thank you very much!

That was it except it was my Microsoft Active Sync
program. You saved me a bunch of time troubleshooting!

Best regards,
Chuck
