I have 120gb H/D partitioned to about 19gb for the operating system (WinXP
Pro) I was trying to copy a dvd and it said there was not enough space on
H/D to copy it. So I checked the properties of my c drive and it said I had
about 1.8gb left, I then highlighted all the files in my c drive and checked
there complete size and it came to about 8.5gb.
Where is the other 8gb or so coming from, I used cleensweep but that did not
re to much up.

Help please

John

SequoiaView is an excellent free tool for tracking down mysterious missing
drive space.

It gives a single window graphical representation of which files are taking
up how much space where on a given drive. Spy/adware free it proves very
useful in revealing files that Windows is reluctant to expose.

That's the most likely culprit.

Unless "protect recycle bin" is unchecked.......you're really not
getting rid of anything.

Also check the "delete after successful burn" option on your DVD
burning program. You probably have a DVD or two hidden in a temp
folder.
