I am a brand, spanking new user to Outlook, having used Outlook Express and
Mozilla Thunderbird in the past. I just set up my first e-mail account in
Outlook 2003 and all my email messages appear greyed out and with a
strikethrough line all the way across them. What did I do wrong and how do I
get rid of it?

Thank you!

What kind of email account are you using?

You may wan to check if the emails have been expired - they grey and strike
out then. Add the field Expires to the Inbox. Do that by right clicking the
colmn header of the inbox, use Field chooser, change to All Mail fields and
find the expires field. Drag it onto the column headers.

I am using an IMAP email account. I currently use this same account with
Mozilla Thunderbird and have used it with Outlook Express in the past and
never had this happen, so I'm assuming it's an Outlook feature that I am
unaware of.

Thanks for your response!
