I recently started having this issue where (almost) any program or
application I click on to open will cause this error:
invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:827561d7.
Registers:
EAX=01d60cb8 CS=0167 EIP=827561d7 EFLGS=00010212
EBX=00000000 SS=016f ESP=008df4f4 EBP=008df50c
ECX=00000000 DS=016f ESI=01d60078 FS=4def
EDX=00000000 ES=016f EDI=01d61240 GS=0000
Bytes at CS:EIP:
f7 0d 01 01 01 05 00 03 82 01 0d 00 30 82 01 08
Stack dump:
0b2727ec 0b2fff10 01d60078 00000000 01d60078 01d61d10 008df568 0b29f074

I have narrowed it down as far as they all are at 0000:827561d7. CS=0167
EIP=827561d7. They all say the same thing here and I don't know what it
means. I searched the registry until my eyes crossed. I am not exactly a
newbie but I am in far over my head here. I just know that my favorite
programs will no longer open. Opera, yahoo messenger, max2, explorer crashes
after trying to open yahoo. Winamp, Incredimail. Just bunches of them. I
have AntiVir Guard always on and sometimes I get boxes telling me it
quarantined this or that but I don't know this time. I took it to trend
micro online virus scan and it performed its test and it found 2 viruses
WORM_RBOT.GEN and TROJ_DOWINS.E which it removed, 34 spyware programs which
all of them were removed and it told me about needing the latest update from
Microsoft which I got. Anyway, I finally thought about it and realized to
try another browser so here I am on Netscape which did have an error but
didn't close because of it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Backup your important data, test the system memory and CHKDSK your hard
drive.
Hardware is where your problem is pointing.
