All items vanish from a folder?

Hi,

From time to time when using windows mail, all items vanish from a folder.
This seems to happen particularly often if I'm changing folders while it is
receiving mail. Sometimes I see it put new incoming mail in the wrong
folder (for example the outbox or sent items box), and then a few seconds
later the whole folder empties. Since this is IMAP to an exchange imap
server it auto-resyncs and downloads all the email again and all is OK
again, but as my inbox gets larger it gets quite annoying when this happens.

Is there any work-around?
