I am running WinXP home sp1. Suddenly, last night, I
noticed that my Dialup connection, and my USB Direcway
device were not under the network connections window. I
have looked through every computer magazine, and every
web site, and done a knowledge base search.. but I have
no idea what is going on. I just can't figure out how to
get them to show up. And oddly, if I make a new
connection, it will be in the window. Yet, when I
restart, it is gone like the others. I know they are
still on the computer, because I am able to see them
under internet options>connections. Does anyone have any
idea what the problem might be?

Post the results of typing these two commands at a command prompt

sc queryex netman
sc queryex rasman
