All inline pictures and signatures sent to myself are attachments.

I am trying to develop a signature with graphic. It seems to work when I sent
a message, but when I receive the mail the signature becomes an attachment. I
have also inserted picture inline with test and they also become attachments
when I sent them to myself. Why can't I receive picture and signature in the
text of the message?

In which message format is the message being received? If in Plain Text it
makes sense.

When you type a message in blue and yellow; does it still arrive in these
colors or has it turned into black?

The colors have all turned to black. If I am not receiving the message in
HTML then how do I change it? I've been through the option menus many times
and don't see anything that should be changed.

What version of Outlook are you using?
Also have you verified with your system admin/ISP that you can receive
messages in HTML format?

I'm using Outlook 2003 SP2. I'll check with my ISP about receiving HTML.

The only option in Outlook to force message to be received in Plain Text is;
Tools-> Options-> Email Options-> Show all messages in Plain Text
