First run outlook Detect/Repair then;
Within Outlook check properties of Personal Folders for path & name, note
these
Now search to include hidden files for *.pst make a note of these, the
largest pst file will likely be your old data file, possibly named
outlook.pst.
Start Outlook, File>Open>Personal Folders....browse to and select the data
file you found in the search.
A second set of personal folders should now be shown in outlook folder tree
view, which should contain your data.
If that is the case, select that set of Personal Folders, set it as default
msg store, then select the empty set of Personal folders and rt click, close
