sometimes when i open the word file and do some modification and after a
while all the toolbar icon greyed out and can't do save,print etc , can click
on any of the toolbar icon. Very strange.

Using office 2007 on windows xp.

Please help

What modifications are you making when the problem occurs? Does it happen
with a particular document? Does Word work in safe mode (hold Ctrl as you
start the application)?
