I put in a bigger harddrive in a server running windows
2000. Made the original D: Drive Q: using disk management
and then the new one D: Drive. Restored all the files
from a backup to the new D: Drive including security. All
the files on every drive except c: Drive seem to be
corrupt. EXE files do not work. I cannot delete
folders..it gives me a message that "Cannot delete <file>
Cannot create file" I have tried adjusting security on
the folders...no luck. I have tried using the files off
the q: same issue. I have tried restoring off of many
other backups...no luck.. If I copy files to the drive
or copy new executables they seem to work fine??

Any ideas?

Thanks
