All files are read only

Hello
I have just start working with WinXP. My previous version was 2000NT. There is a problem testing my InterDev projects the same I was running int the previous version: I cannot edit or write on the database. As I saw all the files are, by default, read only, and I cannot uncheck it. Any suggestions?
