For some reason all of my drives are now mysteriously opening with the
'Command Prompt window any time I access them instead of simply 'opening' to
a list of the drive contents as normal. A right click of any given drive
shows "Open with command prompt" listed at the top of the options. How it
got this way I have no clue, but I don't like it and want to get back to the
way it was ---any ideas how I might do this?

Hi BANSHEE,

See if this fix, provided courtesy of Doug Knox, helps you to resolve the
problem:

Fixes the problem where Search or Command Prompt opens when double clicking
a folder
http://dougknox.com/xp/scripts_desc/xp_folder_open.htm
(the above fix applies to drives as well as folders)

Thanks, Patti---I don't know how that folder got corrupted, but that fix
seems to have worked.
