Hi Radenko

> I found some function upper but i cant do it in same cell?

Code is the only way in Excel
See this webpages

http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/proper.htm
Or
http://www.cpearson.com/excel/case.htm

Here is a macro for changing text cells in the selection

Sub Uppercase_macro()
Dim selectie As Range
Dim cel As Range
On Error Resume Next
Set selectie = Range(ActiveCell.Address & "," & Selection.Address) _
.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeConstants, xlTextValues)
If selectie Is Nothing Then Exit Sub
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
Application.Calculation = xlCalculationManual
For Each cel In selectie
cel.Value = UCase(cel.Value)
Next cel
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
Application.Calculation = xlCalculationAutomatic
End Sub

I found an excellent addin for doing what you want to do...

Go to: http://www.realezsites.com/bus/primi...e/products.php
and look for a utliity called XL Extras. It gives you a menu item in your Format menu that allows you to change text as needed (plus many more useful workbook functions as well.

well if you keep your DATA in a DATABASE it is easy to format it in any
way that you want.

Excel isn't an acceptable tool; only retards and lepers use it for
anything

seriously, ****nut

keep your DATA in one place.. and then you can RENDER it either upper
case or lower case.. without bloating.

in Excel if you want the data in uppercase and lowercase then you have
2 copies of the same data.

It's just ridiculous

in Excel if you want the data SORTED ascending and descending.. then
you have 2 copies of the same data.

it's just ridiculous

anyone using Excel for anything should be FIRED and then SPIT UPON.

That's right. That's where I am when it comes to data bases. But,
even you were there at one time, and even you pooped in your diaper at
one time in your life. You may be there technically, but you are still
a titty sucking, diaper pooping baby when it comes to social skills.
Welcome to my kill file.

And whats all that "In remembrance of 9/11" rubbish - thats history man
- who cares !

When will you people learn.....

The correct formatting for September 11th is 11/9 NOT 9/11 - you have
it back to front over there. Duhhh

I could give a **** about social skills; brother

I'm 'sa' i dont need social skills lol

I just am sick and tired of people using the wrong program and then
bitching when things are 'oh theyre just so complex'

**** I could upper case **** in a database with my eyes closed.. it's
ridiculous that in Excel you have to deal with all of these duplicated
formulas...

in the database world-- I write this UPPER function ONCE.
how many times do you need to jam your 'format cells' up your ass?

**** excel and anyone that uses it
