I am running a Dell Pentium 4 with windows 2000 with AC'97
sound card.
All my video and audio files play too fast. Including
CD's; Even streaming audio video plays too fast and then
there is usually a lag time for the video to catch up.

Is there anyone who has fixed this problem?
Joe

Hi Joe,

I'm having the same problem as well--I will post a reply
if I find out the answer to our problem. If you find it
first can you let me know as well.

I'd like to know the solution to this problem too! I
understand there is either a patch or driver on the
Microsoft site itself which will resolve this problem.

The Dell I'm using at work had the same problem. All
players (WMD, Winamp, Real, QuickTime) were playing sound
and video too fast. The IT engineer has re-installed the
original drivers that come with the Dell computers on CD.
After re-start all players work at normal speed. Best
guess is that at least one of the player installations
replaced the original sound & video drivers.

Good luck,
Chris
