all application generate errors

At first I thought it was just IE generating errors. But now any application
I launch generates the same error message: for example Ad-Aware SE Personal
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience.

No matter what the application, IE, Firefox, it generates this error. Any
idea what might be wrong with this machine???

maybe instead of pin pointing the cause of the problem, you can simply repair
windows with your windows cd > setup > install > repair previous
installation......

I think you have hal.dll missing or corrupt if I'm understanding the symptoms
rights!
Look in the Event Viewer for any Error messages with red Crosses/plus and
post them here may we can help.

Nass: the event viewer shows the following at every application error:

it gives the date and the time. source = application error, category =
none, event = 1000 or 1001, User = N/A

HI Karen,
This issue/Problem can occur for many reasons, Conflict in group Policy and
Admin change accounts to DNS on client is Invaled or unreachable here some
