Hello,
I have nod32, avast home and avg anti-spyware...
I have installed something that I shouldn't have installed thus I think this
is the cause of all security apps to be unable to function.. There is always
a messagebox saying reinstall (AVG) or not a win32 program when being
clicked (Nod32 and Avast home).
Thanks in advance
Jack

Running two anti-virus apps concurrently is not a great idea. Uninstall
one. If necessary reinstall the remaining AV app.

Nod32 protects your computer against both Antivirus and Spyware.Above all
nod32 is far advanced in detection and prevention of attacks compared to
avast and avg . Installing more than one antivirus/spyware program would
cause more damage than good to your computer.

I would to use Nod32 .Uninstall the Avast and Avg.

Running more than one anti-virus program at once is a very bad idea.
Conflicts between them are likely,

Keep NOD32, and ditch the others.

Keep the anti-spyware app, though. In fact, there, you *should* have
more than one, because anti-spyware apps don't normally run in the
background, so they won't conflict with each other.

That's true of anti-virus programs, which normally are always running
in the background. However, even there, the issue is not *installing*
more than one, but running more than one at once. There's nothing
wrong with having more than one installed, with only one running
resident, and the other(s) only on demand.

And having more than one anti-spyware program is not only not a bad
idea, but a very good one. Anti-spyware programs normally don't
running in the background all the time, and therefore don't conflict
with each other. You can do periodic scans with different products,
and since none of these is perfect by a long shot, your protection is
improved.

Yeah, malware is like that. If it gets in, the first thing most boogers try
to do is disable security so the other members of its clan can enter.

I'm afraid you're being over-run by goblins as we speak.

Best bet as always is NOT to even download a virus, or then install it,
as the modern viruses immediately disable your anti-virus protection.
