How to align/move body text in Outlook emails?

The Header is correctly aligned but the text is misaligned and does not
respond to formatting. When the email is printed the 'Dear' has gone up into
the header and along with the body text it is all over to the right deleting
some of the content. I would be most grateful if someone could advise?
