Alien e-mail addresses

With predictive text turned on, if I start to type an address with, say the letter 'a', I am getting a number of e-mail addresses coming up whom I do not know.

For these addresses to appear, I would seem that I would have had to send them an e-mail... and I haven't! Not knowingly anyway.

Is this a bug, or what? How can I get rid of these?
