1) MSAS Alerts scroll off the screen too fast (I have a
normal horizontal task bar configuration). Would like to
slow them down to, say, 30, 40, or 50 seconds so I can
read them. How do I set the "display" time for the alert
popup windows?

2) When can we expect the "Search" feature of this site
to be active?
Thank You
Joe//

This is a known bug, will be fixed by beta 2, in the mean time, place the
taskbar back at the bottom and accept the notifications.

I don't know when the search feature will be active. If you'd like to be
able to do full-text searches in the comfort of you home, consider using the
instructions at the Help URL for these groups to set up an NNTP newsreader
(Hint--Outlook Express can be such a newsreader--it's what I use.) Once
you've downloaded messages (this works better with a broadband
connection)--you can search to your hearts content.

I'm confused by your scrolling issue--Do you mean the green alerts that
require no action? Blue or Red alerts which require action should stick
around until you choose an action.

I believe the developers are aware that this behavior isn't optimal, and
that we'll see changes later in the beta--but in any case, thanks for
posting the feedback here--this is where they read it.

I put my cursor on the popup and it stays till I move the
cursor away. Found that by accident.
