I don't know when the search feature will be active. If you'd like to be
able to do full-text searches in the comfort of you home, consider using the
instructions at the Help URL for these groups to set up an NNTP newsreader
(Hint--Outlook Express can be such a newsreader--it's what I use.) Once
you've downloaded messages (this works better with a broadband
connection)--you can search to your hearts content.
I'm confused by your scrolling issue--Do you mean the green alerts that
require no action? Blue or Red alerts which require action should stick
around until you choose an action.
I believe the developers are aware that this behavior isn't optimal, and
that we'll see changes later in the beta--but in any case, thanks for
posting the feedback here--this is where they read it.
