twice now my computer has rebooted itself, with a message
coming up during start-up of "Alert! Regulator Failure." I
have tried looking in the Help section and doing an online
search for such an error message, but have come up empty.
What is causing this?? Is it just overheating???

Put those words into Google and get a bunch of hits.

Seems as if the problem may be a bad power supply or motherboard itself.

It's a Dell, right?
